My dad starting receiving SSI payments, he is receiving 1195 per month, that is the only income coming in. he is disabled (diabetic) and Medicaid has denied his case several times due to his income...he has to see around five different doctors for treatments. And no money for medications :( I just talked to a retired social security employee and told me he was being overpaid??? And I am so confused since I didn't know what is too little or too much!is that bad???and if it is what should we do...?please help I am so confused

Is my brother going to be a late bloomer?

He is 18 and 5"5. His voice still hasn't fully deepened and when he works out his musceles still do not look fully developed at all. Please help! Pregnant and trapped!?

I am seven months pregnant and living with the father. We have been dating and living to together for about 3 years. Things haven't always been easy but since we learned we were expecting they started getting better. He stopped drinking as much, gave me much affection, and took care of my emotional needs. As I get further along in my pregnancy things have gotten worse. He has been drinking more often and heavily. I suspect he is using some kind of drug. I have found remnants of coke in his nose more than once. Sometimes it seems like he is on something else. He can get really mean or mad at me for no reason. The past 3 weeks were good and i thought he finally understood but last night we went to an indoor arena football game. we got home at 1030 and said he was going to run to his friends for a minute. How do you get oranges out of your teeth?

I eat a fresh orange every day as part of my breakfast as its supposed to be 'good for you' with the vitamins etc. However a major problem I find is the remnants of it sticking between my teeth. I do clean my teeth afterwards with a new toothbrush and also use mouthwash, but notice that brushing just doesnt get it all out, because even hours later I can still pull little bits out with my fingernail. This cant be good for tooth decay, and also the acid from the orange will affect tooth enamel too. So does anyone know a better way to get rid of this problem? My recruiter wants me to join Air Force DEP early? PLEASE READ?

Ok, I am in the summer before my senior year right now (17 years old) and for the past year and a half I have wanted to join the air force. Originally the Air Force Academy, but due to the low acceptance rate I am basing my decision on getting denied from that. So I have decided to enlist if I get declined and therefore been preparing. I took the ASVAB test a couple days ago and scored an 82 (High School GPA is 3.5 FYI). I want to go into Operations Intelligence (1N0X1). Now my recruiter has been calling me to come in and give him all the documents to sign me up for MEPS and then move into the Softbook Program until September and then move right into DEP 8 months before I would want to ship out! What I would prefer to do is wait to go to MEPS and move into DEP around November so I can be positive that this is what I want to do and that will still give me 6 months in the DEP program to try and receive a spot for my job. My question is do I really need to join DEP this early and what are the advantages?

How can I unfreeze my Blackberry Storm 2?

I recently installed a theme from the blackberry store and now its asking for "Application Permissions" but it wont let me go any further. It is frozen on the "Allow" or "Deny" screen. How can I protect my home from potential fire caused by neighbor's fireworks?

Color scheme help. What color should I paint walls?

So I'm moving into my mom's basement to help her out and I need to repaint her walls. Someone gave me dark cherry flooring that's a floating floor. The floor might not be enough to cover the entire basement floor so I'm gonna probably buy either a remnant of carpet or a area rug. I just ordered a couch and chair that are black leather with white stitching to go in a corner. It's a pretty big basement. How should dance tights fit?

I'm going to take a ballet class for the first time this summer. I'm really interested in musical theater and heard that ballet would be a good place to start as far as learning dance basics. I bought some pink tights, which are required for my class, and wasn't allowed to try them on beforehand. They fit tight, but well, in every way except that the crotch on the tights is lower than my actual crotch - I'm a girl, 18 years old by the way. Kidney stone stent removal?

yesterday, i had a procedure to have an obstructed kidney stone removed from my bladder. i was put under general anesthetic, which was an outpatient surgery in the ER. during the surgery, i had to have a stent placed, for whatever reason. the doctor wants me to come back in about 2 weeks to have the stent removed, and when i looked online, it says that when they take it out, they give you local anesthetic, which to me would be a shot of novacane in my crotch?! cause im not down to do that. someone please inform me how they take it out!? im so concerned :/

Family problems... that I have tried fixing, believe me, what do I do?

My mother is needy, lonely, and emotionally abusive. I think she has some sort of mental problem from getting emotionally abused most of her life (by her own mother) and from getting physically abused by two of her lovers. One of them was my father (they are divorced now and have been for about 8 years, but they were together for about 15 years) and the other one banged her head against a door jam and it may have done damage to her brain, the reason why he did this was because she told him that she thought he was cheating on her. The problem right now is, she is still talking to her emotionally abusive family. The reason why she has to keep in touch with this abusive family is because her mother is dying from cancer, and she has put my mother on a trust. My mother also can't get a job easily because she is older (54 years old) and we live in the country in the middle of nowhere and can't afford to drive far away to work. She is trying out this internet business thing, and she also just recently patented two inventions that may become very popular. The thing is, I will be going off to college in 2 years. Why do home loan modifications take so long to review?

I have a home loan modification with Bank of America under review for 1 year and 6 months now. I've been on a trial period since then. So recently, my dog has been having diarrhea for the last 3 days or so. I was getting kind of worried, and then a day after the diarrhea started my dog threw up bone remnants. What if you're just too lazy to follow any religion?

I come from a Muslim family, and I'm 15 y/o. I'm not really sure what I believe in though, and frankly, I'm just too lazy to delve into a search to find that out. I like knowledge and seeking it, but pertaining to the subject of my religion, I'm really not that interested. I like delving into spiritual journeys but not necessarily religious ones. What group does that make me apart of then? I'm not technically an atheist (I think) because I don't deny all deities. But I'm not part of any religion because I'm not sure if there is a god or higher divine power so I won't go and proclaim there is one. Plus, I don't feel like following a specific religious dogma.. I don't know if there is a god; I don't know if there isn't one, and, like I said above, I'm pretty lazy to find out (lol).

Ok. My question has to do with the area surrounding the Tower of Americas. Right before you get to the ticket booth to the Tower, there is a wooden playground. Across from that playground on the other side of the sidewalk there is a medium size hill. Buried in that hill, but still visible are four steps. One of the steps is upright, not in the position it is supposed to be in. The steps appear to be ceramic or portico(I guess thats right) and they are beautifully painted. They also look old and look to the be the remnant of something that was there before, but maybe it got torn down or wiped away in a natural disaster, I don't know, thats just how it appears. It just appears like it's "whats left." You know? So anyway, there is no sign anywhere that I could see that explains these stairs and I have looked on the internet, but did not find anything. I recently got a visa prepaid giftcard and every time I try to activate it and put in my information I always get denied at the end by the same error page--something about them unable to process my request at this time.
