A lot of the traditions that are celebrated on Easter are pagan. The name "Easter" come from the name of a goddess of fertility. The eggs, rabbits, duckling, and chicks are all symbols of new life or fertility which some how was attached to the celebration of Resurrection Sunday and has nothing to do why Christians celebrate this day. If you go to a church service on Resurrection Sunday you will see that the things that you have mentioned are not part of the service
